Refund policy

At Van Hoeve Dahlias, we take care to ensure our dahlia tubers and other products are healthy, true to variety, and ready to grow. Because tubers are a living product, we cannot accept returns once they have left our facility. However, we stand behind the quality of our products and will do our best to work with you if any issues arise.
1. Live Product Guarantee
- All dahlia tubers are inspected before shipping to ensure they are firm, healthy, and viable.

If your tuber arrives damaged, rotted, or otherwise unviable, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order with clear photos of the issue.

We will review your claim and, if approved, offer a replacement (if available) or a refund for the affected item.
2. No Returns on Live Plants
Due to the perishable nature of our products and risk of disease transmission, we cannot accept physical returns of live tubers or plants.
3. Growing Conditions Disclaimer
We cannot guarantee performance once tubers are planted, as success depends on factors outside our control such as climate, soil conditions, pests, disease, and customer care.
4. How to Request a Refund or Replacement
To start a claim, please email us at info@vanhoevedahlias.ca with:
- Your order number
- Photos of the product and packaging
- A brief description of the issue
We will respond within 3–5 business days with next steps.
